The mission of Electron Microscopy (EM) Facility is to ensure world‐class expertise and services in electron microscopy. EM facility maintains and develops high‐end electron microscopy infrastructures - including sample preparation facility for a wide user base. It supports and/or initiates microscopy related research and development projects.

Users from other academic entities, from research labs, and industry are also welcome.

To accomplish this mission, the staff of the center provides fundamental services covering research support and training. Research support is provided by designing experimental approaches to suit the investigator’s needs. The training component consists of instruction for the use of any center equipment and formal Electron Microscopy courses are also offered on a regular basis for students on theory and application of microscopy and imaging.
