NCBS has a local Student Support Cell, which aims to provide assistance to all NCBS early career researchers in the following areas:
-
Academic life
-
Career guidance
-
Well being
- Grievances
The above links (work in progress!) will provide information about campus programs, grievance committees, as well as the Centre's Student Support Cell (cSSC) members with particular expertise in these areas. If the information here does not answer your questions or concerns, please do contact any member of the NCBS cSSC or the pan-TIFR SSC for assistance. They will then guide you to the correct information you need, or the appropriate person or committee who can address your questions or grievances. You can also send an email to studentsupport@ncbs.res.in. All conversations and correspondence will be kept strictly confidential.
The NCBS cSSC also aims to take regular feedback, and to conduct periodic programs, workshops and events aimed at improving the overall experience of early career researchers on campus. Please keep an eye on this website for more information about these activities.
The NCBS cSSC currently consists of Dr. Sandeep Krishna, Prof. Gayatri Saberwal (IBAB), Dr. Deepti Trivedi Vyas, Ms. Neha Panwar and Dr. Hiyaa Ghosh.
