The Student Support Cell at NCBS exists as a space of care, connection and community, offering institutional and peer support. We recognise that research life and graduate school, while intellectually rewarding may also bring emotional, social, and structural challenges.

Our mission is to ensure that every student at NCBS feels supported as a whole individual, not just as researchers. Whether you’re navigating academic pressure, emotional distress, interpersonal concerns, or questions of access and inclusion, the SSC is here to listen, support, and act.

The NCBS SSC currently consists of Prof. Hiyaa Ghosh (Chairperson), Dr. Deepti Trivedi Vyas,  Prof. Gayatri Saberwal, Dr. Sabarinathan Radhakrishnan and Dr. Krithi Nandimath.
