I am Sakshi. I hold a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Banasthali Vidyapith (2023) and a M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Aligarh Muslim University (2025), where I was awarded the University Gold Medal. For my master’s thesis, I developed a CRISPR-Cas system-based probiotic to study gut dysbiosis. I have qualified national-level exams including GATE (XL, BT), IIT-JAM, and CSIR-NET (Category 3). My research interests include gene-editing technologies and exploring its applications to study plant–fungus interactions. Currently, I am working as a Project Intern at the Root Microbiology Lab, studying the impact of Fusarium oxysporum on tomato plants.
