I have completed my B.E. in Biotechnology from Ramaiah Institute of Technology and am currently pursuing my M.Tech in Biotechnology at Vellore Institute of Technology. My research interest lies in plant–microbe interactions, developed during my undergraduate internship in a plant biology laboratory. As a Master’s dissertation student in the Root Microbiology Laboratory, I am working on the functional characterization of EAR-motif effectors and their interactions with repressors in the host cell to understand plant defense mechanisms.
