I did my Bachelor's in Agriculture sciences from ICAR-Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi. I joined UNESCO-Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad as DBT-Ramachandran fellow to pursue Master's in Biotechnology. For my Master's thesis, I looked upon the role of plant ribosomal protein involved in virus infection and elucidated genetic and chemical interventions to mitigate potato virus. I have joined National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore as a PhD student in the Root Microbiology lab. I am investigating the molecular basis of Jasmonate pathway in vascular wilt fungus infection on evolutionarily distant plant lineages.
