Fellowship

All selected candidates will be eligible to receive the regular JRF fellowship (Rs. 37,000 monthly + HRA as applicable) for the first two years with the standard annual contingency and later for upgraded SRF fellowship (Rs. 42,000 monthly + HRA as applicable) after the qualifications for registration are met. The selected candidates can avail of their own national fellowship or the TIFR fellowship.

Eligibility Criteria:

I. Master's degrees in any branch of Biology OR 5- year degrees (e.g. MBBS, BDS) OR professional Master's Degrees (MPharm/ MTech). 
And
II. The candidate must have passed at least one of the following scholarship examinations: CSIR / UGC-JRF or DBT or ICMR or qualified in GATE with validity as on 01 August 2025 can only apply. Only Top 5 Percentile students are eligible to apply.
