The National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) welcomes student groups for guided campus tours, offering insights into our research environment, laboratories, and facilities. These tours are designed to introduce students to the advanced scientific work being conducted at NCBS. 

• The group size must be between 10 and 40 students.
• Tours are only available for NCBS and do not include visits to other Bangalore Life Science Cluster (BLiSC) organizations.

How to Request a Campus Visit

• Interested groups must email comms@ncbs.res.in with:
  • A list of specific labs and facilities they wish to visit.
  • The preferred date(s) for the visit.
• Requests must be sent at least 1 to 2 months in advance to secure a booking.
• Due to high demand, bookings will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Slots are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed until confirmed by NCBS.

General Guidelines

• Each visit will typically include 2 to 3 lab or facility tours, depending on availability.
• Visitors must adhere to all campus safety protocols and respect research spaces.
• The NCBS communications team will coordinate the tour schedule and provide necessary instructions before the visit.
