Short-term Post Doctoral Support- Bridging fellowships

NCBS will provide short-term support to students currently being supervised by NCBS faculty who wish to extend their stay for a brief period post- PhD for the purposes of completing experiments related to the graduate program or for collaborative efforts initiated during the student’s PhD. A limited number of such fellowships will be available for exceptional cases. These positions will be tenable for a maximum of one year and will provide funds for salary support and house rent allowance.

Applications for these positions and a formal recommendation from the host laboratory (if relevant) should reach the Head Academics, Dr. Mukund Thattai (thattai@ncbs.re.in) or (acadoffice@ncbs.res.in), 3 months before submission of the PhD thesis. Applications for this position will be screened by a committee appointed by Head Academics, NCBS and a final decision on the appointment will be communicated within 30 days of receipt of a complete application.
