The academic year starts from August 1, every year.

PhD

Students receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 25,000/- enhanced to Rs. 28,000/- after registration and an annual contingency grant of Rs. 32000/-

Int.M.Sc.-PhD

students receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 16,000/- for the first year and an annual contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/-. At the end of the first year, upon satisfactory performance, the fellowship is enhanced to Rs. 25,000/- per month ((further raised to Rs. 28,000/- after registration for PhD) and contingency grant is enhanced to Rs. 32000/- per annum.
 

M.Sc. by Research (Biology) at DBS

Students receive a monthly scholarship of Rs.16000/- (TIFR housing is not provided). The annual fees are Rs. 2000/- PA.

M.Sc. Wildlife Biology and Conservation

Students receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 12000/- p.m.
