The National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), through its Science Education Outreach Office, in collaboration with the IUBS General Assembly, is hosting a three-day Teacher Training Workshop from June 10–12 at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

This workshop is open to:

  • High school teachers
  • Undergraduate and postgraduate educators
  • Teachers in training

Participants will explore:

  • Digital pedagogy, including how to integrate climate education and urban sustainability into existing curricula
  • Hands-on use of frugal science tools
  • Innovative approaches to science communication

In addition to the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Interact with leading scientists
  • Attend talks and lectures during the IUBS General Assembly
