Satellite Meeting to 13th Human Genome Organization conference in 2008

Poster session: 3:30 to 6:30 pm on October 1st 2008.

The symposium is being organized as a satellite meeting to the international Human Genome Symposium being held in India this year (Sept 2008). The focus of the satellite symposium is to highlight genomic approaches in model organisms and the relevance of these genomic approaches in furthering understanding of complex diseases and drug discovery. The range of model organisms covered includes invertebrates (Drosophila and C. elegans), and vertebrates (Zebrafish and mouse) with a few related talks on human disease.

  Who can participate :
Participation in the symposium is open to all persons interested in its theme. Registration is limited to 100 participants and will be based on first come basis. Preference will be given to people presenting posters.
 

Registration :

  • Registration for invited speakers is complimentary. However, speakers are requested to fill in the registration form and send it as an attachment to - gmod@ncbs.res.in.
  • All participants are requested to register by submitting the registration form duly filled in along with the applicable registration fee. There is no additional registration fee for poster presentation.
  • Registration Form must be sent as an attachment (doc file) by email to - gmod@ncbs.res.in before the deadline.
