We aim to study and engineer functional human immune responses by developing innovative technologies at the interface of immunology, protein engineering, artificial intelligence, and systems biology. Our long-term goal is to understand the mechanisms that drive variability in human immunity and translate these insights into next-generation vaccines and immunotherapies for infectious diseases, cancer, and autoimmune disorders.
India's extraordinary genetic, environmental, and pathogen persity provides a unique opportunity to investigate the determinants of immune variation at population scale. By combining technology development with studies in perse human cohorts, we seek to define the biological principles governing human immune heterogeneity and leverage these discoveries to develop precision immune interventions.
