Course Outline:

The is an introductory course in Animal Behavior. The course will introduce basic concepts of Animal Behavior and demonstrate how scientists study animal behavior. We will demonstrate how one starts with observations, then formulates proximate (mechanistic) or ultimate (evolutionary) questions and finally designs behavioral experiments that are capable of answering these questions.
