This workshop is the third in a series of meetings addressing this field. As in earlier meetings (held in 2007 at TIFR, Mumbai and in 2008 at Mahabaleshwar, it will contain a combination of research and instructional talks. These talks are directed at senior researchers in the field, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and physicists/applied mathematicians interested in modelling aspects of this field. We will select 30-40 student participants by application. Deadline for applications is November 1st, 2009.
NCBS-TIFR students: Attending and participating in discussion groups at the conference in addition to writing a (4-5 page max.) short review term paper will give you two credits and fulfil an "Advanced course" requirement. Students interested in taking this as a course for credit please speak to Sandhya before December 15th, 2009.
